The Council is proposing to introduce a One Way System in Rathmullan to improve traffic management, increase footpath widths, provide new footpaths and to create more street parking.
Works will include new signage on the three streets inside the village boundary to ensure local residents and tourists understand the new road layout, new road markings to match the new signage to allow vehicles and pedestrians to move safely through the village and also to define the new parking areas.
Plans are available for inspection from Friday 16 March to Friday 20 April 2018 and written submissions and observations on these proposals are being invited. Submissions should be made in writing to the County Secretariat Office, Donegal County Council, Lifford, County Donegal, before 4.00pm on Tuesday 8 May 2018.
